My name is Rachel Rambach. I am a board-certified music therapist in central Illinois, where I work at a school for children with multiple disabilities as well as in private practice. I received my bachelors degree in vocal music from Rollins College, and earned my masters degree in music therapy at Illinois State University. I began writing my own music therapy songs while still in graduate school, and in 2008 I decided to do something fun with them.

Enter Listen & Learn Music. It began on a whim; I've always been interested in blogging, and I thought that my songs and work with children might make a great topic. Three months later, readers were emailing me to share how they were able to incorporate them into their own lessons, and just how much their students enjoyed these songs.

It is a wonderful feeling knowing that my songs are reaching children all over the world (I have readers in Spain, Australia, Canada, and many other countries) and that other music therapists and educators are using my blog as a resource.
