Music Therapy Connections was established in 2007 by Rachel Rambach, a board-certified music therapist. Located in central Illinois, services are provided to children of all ages and levels of development. These services include individual or group music therapy, and voice/piano/guitar lessons. Please explore all areas of this website to learn more about how your child can benefit from either music therapy or musical instruction.

Rachel Rambach, MM, MT-BC

Rachel grew up in Springfield, Illinois, where she participated in and studied all types of music from an early age. She completed her bachelors degree in voice performance at Rollins College in Winter Park, Florida, where she graduated summa cum laude. Rachel went on to earn her masters degree in music therapy from Illinois State University, again receiving top honors. Her clinical training was completed in St. Louis with Midwest Music Therapy Services. Rachel is employed full-time at the Hope Institute for Children & Families, where she designed and implemented its first-ever music therapy program. In addition to her work at Hope, she also serves on the children's music staff at Laurel United Methodist Church. Rachel contributes her talents to Songs For Teaching and Model Me Kids, and is a member of the Illinois Federation of Music Clubs, the American Music Therapy Association, and serves as Secretary on the Executive Board of the Illinois Association for Music Therapy.
